One of the worst things that can happen during a dare, getting a severe cold or other illness. Lucky, I caught a cold. Sore throat, eyes, ears and I can continue for a while. Currently full of meds I’m trying to get to the end of the dare. Less than 11 hours left. I should be able to get there!

Enjoy some teaser art from my live blog:

The weekend wasn’t on my side sadly but I’m here and aiming for the jam.

In the last hour I have made a tree with the pathways in the maze – levels are procedural ofcourse. Here is a picture of the tree visualized.

Now, on to my first ever legit AI in my life: a simple DFS.

Finished Up For The Night

Hey guys. I am finishing up for the night and getting ready for some much needed sleep. I have made some good progress. Although I dont have a name for it yet I will explain what you have to do in it. The point of the game is to grow a tree from a seed as fast as you possibly can. To determine how fast or slow the tree grows, there are different levels for how much water is currently in the pot and how much sun the tree is getting. You must add or subtract sunlight and the water level to find the fastest way to grow the tree, but you must be careful not to over water or vis versa, because if you do, the tree will eventually die. Only I will know the best amount of water and sunlight that you need to grow the tree the fastest.

Once the tree is fully grown the “weight” of the tree will break the table and pot that it is sitting in and crash to the floor! The timer will then stop and show you how long it took you to grow the tree. Below is a picture of the 2nd phase of the tree’s life.

I will continue livestreaming at about 11AM CST (!
