SINGLEHANDEDLY – the remake.

I hate it when this happens. You create this universe. You come up with these characters. You twist this game mechanic and run with it. You end up falling in love.
And you swear up and down that it’s time to move on, you’ll do something new, something exciting and “innovative.” Something that’s different for the sake of being different in some futile attempt to break some hypothetical mold.
And it never happens. Because you’re in love.

Yep, I’m remaking an old contest entry.
All melodrama aside, this is going to be awesome. So awesome, you may want to take a knee.

Oh, wait, it looks like our little blue protagonist already has. Because he can duck now.

Also, I figured out how purple works.

This time around, you’ll be immersed in the universe in the way I had it visualized from the start. You’ll follow a storyline and get to know the characters just as well as I did. You will be tested and you will be challenged and you will like it and you will fall in love.

These vids are old! It’s coming along like crazy. I hope I impress at least one of you guys, because this is going to be the biggest, most elaborate game I’ve ever made.

I joined the TurboDindon team for the 26th Ludum Dare. It was a very great experience, I love my teammates.

We finished our game ‘MUSTACHE ARMIES‘.

You can discover below a few graphic researches, artworks and assets I’ve designed. My mate Raz did other graphics as main unities, backgrounds and logo. Graphics have been inspired by minimalist paintings and shapes. Not everything has been implemented.

It’s done!! You can now blast away at monsters with an infinite number of randomly generated guns to your heart’s content. (The guns can do some pretty interesting things, if I say so myself).

It’s on! I’ve decided to make a protoype of a game idea I had, so please be detailed in your feedback!

It’s a game about guns. There’ll be tons of attributes and combinations, and lots of monsters to shoot them at.  It’ll have fun sci-fi laser effects too; although I decided to leave out the Lightening attack type.Basically you have fun trying to find the optimal (or the weirdest!) gun. The monsters will have the same guns you can have, too!! Although i MAY give them limitless ammo.

It’s going to be called Guns Rule.

Will put up a screenshot when I have something to show; I’m just about to dive into coding.

UPDATE: It’s working! I still have to hook up being the HUD and improve the monsters and add bosses (and polish), but I’ve got the engine in place!


It’s looking cooler now…





UPDATE: Finally figured out how to get it to let me put up screenshots!! Yay! (It’ll look better when it’s done.)

Oh well my weekend plans were devastated by personal issues 😛 but in the last 6 hours I was able to put together a game, a little bit different from my original idea, that really sucks.
