We’ve finalized the design for our lick-able Popsicle controllers!

This will replace our old ‘stand’ controller for our game, Planet Licker, our game designed to be played with your tongue. Thanks to everybody who participated inĀ  our play-testing– we addressed a lot of issues that were brought up during the night with this new controller. Notably, players aren’t leaning down over the controller anymore, licking full spheres has been replaced with licking buttons, and the planets have been reduced in size (since it’s a short game meant to be played in ‘one sitting’). Next up is 3D printing the shells, making food safe silicone molds for the new popsicle planets, and sourcing components for sensors.

Happy LD33, stay tuned for more updates
