I made it!
Here’s my game:

You are the cheeky owner of a Hotel with just one room and a bus full of blind clients just broke down in front of your #OneRoomHotel!

Use your left click and right click to build walls to avoid guests from noticing each other!

Guests will keep coming from time to time and for you to keep cashing in! 100€ each. But if one finds another, its game over lady!
How usurer can you get??

note: Made by ManuScythe using GameMaker, Audacity. All code,  graphics, music and sfx were made from scratch. Ye music and sfx is me mumbling  hahaha

“What happened to Michael?” submitted!

What happened to Michael?

It’s been a hard but we did it! We have submitted “What happened to Michael?” on time. It’s our first “point & click graphic adventure”, and we must say we now have a lot more of respect for Ron Gilbert, Dave Gilbert and all other Gilberts… creators of adventures. Wow.

We had a lot of trouble with objects on screen so, please do try to beat the game (it’s fully playable!) the “Not now” are objects that should not be clickable, but they are there, sorry about that. If you need help, there is also a Walkthrough available 😉

We are happy anyways. Not bad for our first adventure and just a few hours. Cheers!

Motivation at it’s best

Hello everybody! A long night awaits for us here in Argentina, but we are very optimistic and full of energy! Our Ludum Dare #37 entry is getting in shape! It’s an arcadey-2D-top shooter-heist-thingy!

This is a quick mockup, we already have the character animations and now we are adding details. How are you doing? :)

We have a concept!

So after deliverating me and my friend for many hours, now we have at last agreed for the final idea we’ll work on.

I’ll start fleshing out the details before starting coding and my friend Roach is focusing on the art concept.

Update # 1: Game jam gone right?

So we’re in (Wat?…)

We woke up late due to doing some work and talking about life from 9 PM to 6AM

since LD starts at 10AM in our timezone.

Officially starting by 6pm which is almost half a day gone.

Here’s how we started:

With 5 boxes of pizza! What a way to start the jam with some Dinner Jam.

With the hard part of the Jam done (the eating part…)

we’re down to the dirty and gritty bits, we’ve made progress with our game. Sure it’s only a mockup but hey, better than doing nothing while waiting for the other assets to be completed.

More updates on the game later / tomorrow.

Hope you enjoyed the eye candy (-referring to the pizza)
