October Challenge complete….. wait what?!

My goal for the October Challenge was to successfully Kickstart my game Another Castle. Well, it took a bit longer than expected, but it just reached it’s $12,000 goal on Kickstarter!

I’m glad I took more time to work on my pitch, as I was able to make the prototype much nicer, and I even got approved as a Nintendo developer so the game’s coming to the Wii U! I know Kickstarting a game isn’t quite making a full game for the challenge, but I’ve been wanting to work on a much more ambitious project, and Kickstarter has been a fantastic way to give me the freedom to do so. The Kickstarter’s still going on for about a week, so check it out!

A late but Colourful entry :)

Well.. I did not quit finish the October challenge 😉 But now 20 days due I’ve finally come up with an idea, created it and published it to the market.


Let my present to you my first complete game “Colours“. A game app for android. It’s a game about colours (duh!) and the objective is to match a randomly generated colour with the help of three sliders that represent the primary colours Red, Green and Blue.

The faster you do it the more points will you earn and you can submit your score to a high-score list. With every level completed the game also gets harder and harder.

I would be really glad if you would like to test it out and tell my what you think.
It comes in a “lite” version and a paid version. The paid version because of the goal of the October challenge to earn one dollar :)

After a month of work, “Dimension of Cubes” is for sale!

What has been done so far:
* Basic mechanics.
* Level elements: doors, levers, spikes, portals.
* Six tutorial levels and two challenge.
* Camera that follows the mouse for large levels.

What remains to be done.
* More levels. The game will have thirty or forty approximately.
* Level editor.
* Music and sound effects.
* Sprite animations.
* Port to Game Maker Studio to market it.
