The first Post-Jam version is now out! Had some technical difficulties with the web builds (HTML5 build has terrible audio support and itch.io didn’t like the Unity web build for some reason) so now there aren’t any! Desktop builds all the way, eh.

Do try and rate the jam build as well will ya?

It took me a full day (- 6h give or take) to make an animated, low poly mecha. This is why I’m not a graphics artist!

You can see the 32×32 texture in the top left corner. I didn’t even use all of it yet.

Tomorrow’s for gameplay then. Gotta keep it simple, but taken that I have no ambitious design this time, it ought to happen.

Now for some well earned sleep.

Apart from a few hiccups in the Blender animation pipeline, importing the model to Unity wasn’t a big deal.

Mecha cop: Over-ambitious?

So the idea is that you’re a cop, you have various types of mechs to take the criminals to task… And try not to sacrifice too many bystanders.

I want a levelling system to get access to better and better mechs, a fairly big city to patrol, and, well, non-programmer art.

……. Too ambitious?

I’m going to doze a little bit and see how far I can push it tomorrow.
