Hi everyone!

Rosa & I are organising a meetup for Ludum Dare 38 at Newspeak House in London.

If you’re in or around London on the Ludum Dare weekend, come jam with us!

Newspeak House

What is Newspeak House?
Newspeak House is a hackspace for politics. Started by Edward Saperia, it is a hub for people who believe that technology has the power to improve society.

We will be jamming in their communal space, a spacious and bright room on the ground floor of the building and a stone-throw away from Shoreditch High Street. If the weather is nice, we can also make use of their terrace.

There will be:

Lightning fast internet speeds
24 hour access
Free food and drink
Optional self-care activites
Tables and chairs

What to bring:

A laptop and charger
Pens, paper, whiteboards – what you need to get creative
A sleeping bag and a pillow
A matt or blow-up mattress

Please sign up on the EventBrite at

Money from ticket sales will all go towards providing free food and drink. If you are a student or unemployed and cannot afford a ticket, contact Rosa at r.carbomascarell (at) gmail (dot) com or tweet at her on @moreelen.

Hope to see you there!

Hi there!

We’re pleased to announce that Ludum Dare is coming to London once again – hosted at Google’s Campus!

We’re really excited to bring you this event, and best of all it’s totally free. There are even Android Cardboards up for grabs for the first twenty people to request them.

If you’re thinking of attending, please sign up using the Eventbrite link: (we need a rough idea of numbers for the catering!) and please share this link amongst your friends so we can get the best number of people possible – we will release more tickets if there is demand for it.

Happy devving!

Game Breaking Bug Squashed!

So I went to demo the game to a few non-programmer friends who have not-so-great computers.

Before this time, I had only tested it on my supercomputer and a bunch of friends’ computers with mid-upper end gaming computers.

I discovered an issue with my camera tweening overshooting (which I was worried about and noticed small signs of before, but never fully fixed it.) I added four lines of code and submitted, and it all should be fixed.

As always, you can play my game HERE.

Give me a shout-out at @LPGhatguy on Twitter with feedback!
And as before:

Done! Submitted! Bridges!

I’ve submitted my game!
It’s a game about throwing people off bridges for your own personal reasons.
I’ll be back later to upload a scan of a list of villains I considered, I’m heading off to demo the game to some more friends now.

There are also goats in the game, or cats, or babies, or whatever. Officially we’ll just call them “nondescript animals.”

You can play it here:
