There’s literally less than an hour left to play/rate entries and my game Rolla Grolla Arena could do with some more votes (it’s probably not possible given the short timeframe but I want to get 100 votes by the end of the judging period).

Rolla Grolla Arena – LD34 Jam Entry
Tuesday, December 15th, 2015 1:05 pmHere’s my jam entry for Ludum Dare 34 (It’s a multiplayer game requiring at least 2 players so grab a friend/sibling/relative/significant other/etc. to play this. Also controllers are definitely recommended).
As always, I also have a Google Form that you can fill in if you would like me to play/rate your entries (I’ll try and do each one as soon as possible).
Looticrous Post-Mortem
October Challenge 2015: Make $1
I’ve started to do #1GAM and I noticed the October challenge fell in line with what I was trying to do, so I went ahead with a project that seemed to be too hard to do for a single month but managed to make something marketable within 2/3 of what I had originally scoped. The original “Looticrous” was supposed to be Reverse Gauntlet, meaning players started in the boss room and had to leave the dungeon with as much loot as they could carry. It was supposed to have four different playable classes, as well as “co-opertitional” elements where players were supposed to help each other if they trusted each other not to grab each others loot.
HOWEVER, the amount of art, programming, and troubleshooting would have taken WAY over a month, so I cut and cut and went back to an old prototype from September I had made until I ended up with a “hungry-hungry-hippos” local multiplayer game. So what was supposed to be a high grade RPG dungeon crawler with reverse objectives ended up becoming a polished prototype I started developing back in September, here’s a vine I took of people playing the prototype at Boston Festival of Indie Games the month before..
I’m pretty happy with the amount of marketing and programming experience I gained from the project and am already in production of another project for November!, If I were to go back to this project I would finish up the third map which never got released, polish all the art, and add more game modes.
**Requires controllers/gamepads for multiplayer!**

CharnHell Time-Lapse
We put our 3 day time-lapse together for CharnHell, and you can view it on YouTube below!
We’ll be improving the game in coming months – currently, it seems that the control system is too difficult for people to work out. More UI / HUD / prompts are needed I think! In the meantime, try out the game here.
Catch Pet – 2-4 Players PVP
Hey guys, tomorrow we will be exhibiting our game at an event for the Ludum Dare games made by students from universities in Novo Hamburgo, Brazil. We would like you to play and give us feedback, so we can leave the most polished game.

Traditional List of LocalMultiplayer LD Games #32
Hello folks!
So, we’re the kind of people that make a tradition in two days, so since we did it last LD, we’re doing it again this time around.
If you’ve made a local multiplayer game for LD you will probably notice that most people playing and rating games are doing so alone. The objective of this list is for it to be a reference for the people who play and rate in groups to play this games and even out the love they receive.
Feel free to send local multiplayer games my way (e-mail them to Alberto@rodaja.es or just link in the comments) and please say if it’s local multiplayer only, if it’s for 2 or more people, and if it has an AI or something you can play alone.

Also, if I made a game isn’t propperly categorized please point it out so I can fix it.
Enjoy your games in company!
The fine sport of fish fencing dates back to the early 1800s. In the traditional ruleset, you must jab your opponent off the arena, using only the fish in your hand. If you are disarmed by your opponent’s parry, you will need to avoid him while you fish for a new weapon. Better hope you catch a big one!
This is the first game jam that I may conceivably finish. My partner and I have never used Unity before, but we are really enjoying it. However we’ve definitely spent a lot of time running into some walls due to lack of skill. We’re both web developers during the day, but making games is another beast.
The “art” is really tragic, we kind of cheated on this and are using woodcut style images from Google images. Yeesh. Better than the programmer art that we’d otherwise make I guess.
We set it up with gamepads in mind, and the controls actually feel pretty good. Major to-dos are getting the “stab” motion right so it has enough “oomph” behind it, and completing the fishing aspect. Sound and music would be nice but we are clueless in that arena as well, so *shrug*. Anyways, about 27 (?) hours left right?

The perfect games for the holidays!
’tis the time for family gathering and over eating, but… what do you do afterwards?
- Talk about what you’re doing with your life? nuh-uh
- Ask what’s some far relative doing with theirs? nuh-uh
you play LOCAL MULTIPLAYER GAMES!
They’re the perfect type of game to play these days. Either you love your siblings, nieces or nephews, so you play local co-op games, or you hate your in-laws, so you beat their asses in local competitive games.
The thing is you need local multiplayer games for these days, and you’re in luck. I’ve made a little compilation of local multiplayer games from LD31 (full disclosure: the first game in the list is ours) for you to have fun with and give love at a time where they’re more likely to be played (because it’s heartbreaking to see so many times local multiplayer games neglected or missrepresented by people streaming or commenting who don’t have a second player at hand).
So, without further ado:
