you have been sent to the earth to accomplish an important mission. here you are a monster, people hates you, but in your planet you’re a normal dude. so … it can be difficult.

progress:

-intro cutscenes: completed.

-firsts gameplay scenes: completed.

and… have to do a lot of work still (i’m not an artist, so make art take me a lot of time).

tomorrow: MUSIC and SOUNDS DAY 😀 (if i finish the code stuff tonight).

title: i have a couple of ideas but nothing defined yet.

Hello everyone!

Last time I went solo I wasn’t able to finish in time, but I’m back for this one with some of my friends!

I will be using (I don’t know what tools they will use):

Engine: Unity 5

Editor: Visual Studio 2013 CE

Image Editor: Corel Paintshop Pro x6 Ultimate, MS Paint

Those are the tools that I will use.  My friends will use other tools to do the art (probably Photoshop) and music/sfx.

We have our git repository here.

I’m in guys, or should I say we’re in.  I’d usually work on my own for Ludum Dare but this time things are going to be a little different.  This time around me, Noah (nozzergaming), and my Dad (vilvic) will be doing the Jam all working together.

I hope this means we have a potential of producing a game that is better than one I’d produce by myself.

Good luck to everyone else taking part in LD33.

In, but this time it’s personal

The last time I did a ludum dare flash was still the go to language (imo). However maybe not the case anymore. Unity tempts me, but chrome and its npapi disapproval, hmm, less tempting.

Code/framework: JS + Phaser

Music: Who am I kidding I never get around to music

SFX: bfxr

Graphics: Photoshop

Did a dry run with phaser to get comfortable with the toolset and quick setup. Ended up using a yeoman generator which is handy. See le gif (I promise the framerate is better irl):

Hello.

I am in. 5th time round the old block for me.

I will be using my own JavaScript WebGL 2d game engine thing (worked well enough last time!)

mass-x

For art I’ll be using the awesome Deluxe Paint II clone Swanky Paint which features BLLLOOOOMMM which helps figure out in advance what the art is going to look like in engine once there’s BLLLOOOOOMMMM so they don’t get all blown-out.

For the music I will be using the beyond useful Propellerhead Reason. I know it, I have a licence for it, has great synth and recording capabilities.

For writing of the code I’ll probably use either Atom or Sublime Text. I haven’t decided yet.

I’ll also make use of Photoshop and probably Audition for editing sound and stuff.

I shall leave you now with some words of wisdom from a robot friend. Good luck everyone!!! 😀
