The first time is officially over. I am no longer a virgin.

It has been an intense 2 days but I’ve learnt alot and had fun! And best of all, I was able to deliver a game :) It might not be the funniest one you’ve ever played but at least it works (to my knowledge) 😉

As you can see, I’ve already added a character and a map. Using HaxePunkTmx, I just used Tiled to make it as you can see below. This makes a very fast toolchain.

Hello Guys!!
This is my first competition like “Do this as fast as you can”. Maybe I can not not finish on time, but will do my best!! 😉

Well, the tools:

Language: Haxe;)
“IDE”: Notepad + +
Lib: HaxePunk.
Graphics: Inkscape, Gimp, Paint.net, pyxel.
Music: LMMS, Sound Club.
SFX: Do not know yet …

Losing my virginity

After some persuasion from my co-worker’s I’ve decided to enter the LD compo for the first time. I have little experience in game development, created my first game ever just two weeks ago. But I figured, what better way is there to challenge myself to create more? 😀

My goal for this compo is to have lots of fun, learn lots of new stuff and to have an actual playable game done in time.

I will be using HaxePunk since well, that was what I used last time and it worked well :)
