Hello ! So my game uses a lot of buttons and other UI features. However I’m not such a good artist when I try using a editor the Images sometimes come out too small or to outlined or the words aren’t aligned correctly. So I’m searching for a program which you can download and create button, banners, icons, logos etc. All these can be created simply by filping the switches. The closest thing I found to what I was looking for is Kenney Studio. Kenney says he plans to add in the feature but I don’t know how long it will take (https://itch.io/t/17078/a-button-creator). Of course their are a few online programs but I have no clue where these people are getting their resources and are they legal or not. So I continue my search, any suggestion ?

Unity class for resizable GUI
Hi guys. I’m going to be using my class that I wrote earlier for user interface during this Ludum Dare, so I’m sharing it here for those who want a quick solution for fully responsive GUI with Unity without using any external plugins and stuff. The original post is here: http://blog.sergeymohov.com/fully-responsive-user-interface-with-unity-gui/. You’ll find the API there.
Get the GUISizer class here: http://goo.gl/wgdFX6. You can also download an example project here: http://goo.gl/5F5PIY. Or, if you prefer, the same thing as a UnityPackage that you can import into your own project: http://goo.gl/GKczDm. The source code is also added to the bottom of this post in case the links die. If you use C#, then feel free to put GUISizer.cs anywhere you want in your project. However, if UnityScript is your cup of tea, then it has to go into your Plugins folder. Otherwise you won’t be able to access its methods and structures.

I shall open the first day of coding with my favorite scrambled eggs on toast!
Also, I made a GUI mockup. I always do these not just for a first look, but also so I can choose an area and quickly get both the coordinates and sizes, which helps a lot when writing the drawing code.

I’m very happy to introduce you gLapse 0.2, the visual GNU/Linux tool to take screenshots at fixed intervals and make time lapse videos of your compo progress. If you didn’t knew gLapse you can check out more information about this tool in my first post. At this moment, gLapse is available in English, Spanish and German.
Changelog
- Configurable video quality (very bad, bad, normal, good, best).
- Synchronized screenshots output and video input folders.
- Changes default screenshots output folder.
- Adds German translation (thanks to Superyoshi).
- Improves GUI usability.

Feedback and new translations are hugely welcome, if you find any problems I would be grateful if yould report them in the issues section. Hope you like it and find it useful for the next compo!
Just want to show you my draft for the gui. To get a feeling for sizes and the overall game.
