Hey all, my name is Ben and I’m a member of a team of three friends that we call Toasted Games! If you haven’t heard about us before, here’s our info. Anyway, the reason I made this post was because I made a huge post on our website about my personal creation, Obstruction! Obstruction is a game about creating courses and maneuvering through them, and sharing those courses with your friends! The game will likely be released this year, and we’d love it if you could check it out. If you’re interested, start by reading the post I just made!

We hope to see you around! ^_^

Character concept art

Hello! Here is some progress with the character concept art. This is my first game jam ever. Have a very simple idea that I think I can pull off in 48 hours.
Will be using Game Maker Studio and Photoshop. Good luck to everyone :)

First playable demo !

The first playable demo of our unamed game is finally here ! 😀

It’s a 2D platform game based on the “Two buttons controls” theme. In this game, you control an alien who crashed his spaceship in a big factory, and you must gather all the pieces from your spaceship in order to rebuild it and go home. In this demo, only the first “tutorial” level is playable. Obviously, the graphic part is definitely not finished. But it’s still playable and hopefully enjoyable 😀

Download it here !

Any feedback is welcome 😀

Hi.
My progress over the two days:
scr_LD33_DD_Dungeon_5

You play as an orc. After the death of the player you are given the neighboring orc.
Objective: To protect the treasures and \ or kill the hero.
I think I almost missed with the theme of LD: D
Ps. Sorry for bad English

Under development

Our first attempt on Ludum Dare. We are still building the code along with the graphics, as the art concepts we’ve done and showed to reference better final art. We’re going to do a basic tower defense with the Dark Age as theme, but we’ve prepared a little surprise for ya, to fit the Ludum Dare requirements. The screenshots yet show we starting to test new patterns of levels with tilesets that later, will be build with our own made tiles.

Cat-GunFeels-GunClock-Gun

I’m LOSING MY MIND… I’m not really that close to finishing. But take a look at the gifs. so I just had to put more than one unconventional weapon (this will haunt me for eons to come).

Cat Gun, Feels Gun and A Clock Gun. Creating the animation for the lawyer gun would have taken for ever (I mean you know how it is with lawyers :P).

Just also quickly put together something in FL Studio for music. Goodness me. there’s no time.  I’m not even tired!!! Argh!!! Ludumdare!!!!
