Hey everyone! Just another usual post for entering Ludum Dare. This should be my 6th time around…

Tools:  Unity, Blender, GIMP, SFXR, LMMS

I have no idea how much I can do this Ludum Dare… I’ll try to make something small this time.

Now this is kind of a side request but in case anyone reading this post before it’s lost in the feed is interested in helping me out, I’m lacking solid feedback on the current state of my LD37 game, Super Battle Cycle. Leave a comment if you like, thank you!

That’s all I have to say, thanks for reading. Hope you guys are all prepared for a great weekend!

I can participate this time around, only I’m not prepared at all… 😮 I’ll be brief

Tools – Unity, Blender, Gimp, Aseprite? (considering 2D in Unity), paper and such
Lots of work to do! I’m curious to see how the new website will run the event. Good luck everyone.

The GGJ was my first real jam since I started making games (well mostly learning about game making)  and I’m ready to try something new.  I’m off to University in Comp.Sci. after the summer so I plan to learn as much as I can in the meantime. Ludum dare seemed like a great thing to try and maybe keep on doing for a long time if I like it! Good luck everyone and let’s have some fun!

Unity. C# with VS.  Blender or Aseprite (depends on the theme) and fruity loops!

LD 33 late I’m in, but I’m in.

Yes, late I’m in, but it’s the custom to do so, so here we go.

Using Construct 2 and GIMP. Will likely use Inkscape as well.
For the sound, I guess a mix of bfxr, Reason and Sound Forge.

ProtoScreenshotAnd here’s an ugly screenshot of an ugly WIP prototype.

Good night all.

Ludum dare is coming up in just 15 minutes so every one should be getting ready. I set up a tip exchange in the comments of this post where you can share your tips and tricks that you use in ludum dare! You can also post questions about making your game or how to do certain things in the comments.

Good luck to everyone competing i hope you all do well!

Finally I can say – I’m in! I wanted to join for so many years now, and this weekend my dreams come true! ( No idea how it will work out, but that is quite the reason, why we all do it :) I’ve been part of PyWeek couple of times. I’m gonna use these tools:

Coding: C#, VS 2013, Wave Engine (new engine to learn)

Graphics: Gimp, Inkscape (I do suck at this >:D)

Sounds: FL Studio 11, (I am missing my keyboard, where I compose usually), Mic, Ukulele, Violin, Harmonica etc.

My university (Charles University in Prague) has offered all LD participants a shelter in our school building (right under the Prague castle), for the whole time. How cool is that?
