So, I just published “Venture Ville!” from Visual Studio up to azure at:

http://brainslugs83.azurewebsites.net/

Be sure to log-in and check it out! 😀

Also, in the spirit of Ludum Dare’s whole Latin thing that it has going on, we gave our team a motto — wasn’t able to really double check it as apparently, my friend’s who get Latin are out of town. — But Google Translate’s cool with it, so I’ll leave it at that. 😀

I’d throw the source up somewhere, but it’s like 40 MB… maybe my Google Drive?  I didn’t see anywhere on the LD site where I could upload it. :(

Also, I Chronolapsed everything, so I’ll be cutting that this week and hopefully YouTube’d by Friday. :-)

Happy Monday!

So I managed to finish myself a game for this Ludum Dare, which must mean that I’m more of a villain than an evolutionalist (Considering I fell ill the last LD).

You all better test my little world domination simulator now, or as I’ve lovingly nicknamed it: “MiLWaDS”

If you don’t have windows then I’ve heard it works well in wine, and I might have a possible linux build coming of it.

Timelapse will be put up as soon as it finishes uploading, and then you’ll be free to observe me sleeping half the time away.

This is my first ever LudumDare out of 4 when I managed to finish my game in time. No sounds though but everything is working fine and every feature I wanted in the game is implemented. So I consider this a big success!

So what are you waiting for? Go diamond hunting on staticvoidgames.com! Just click ‘Applet’ on the left to play Gems of the Evolving Land in your browser.

Here is the entry page please rate!

First LD48 compo, entry done !

I’m glad I somehow ‘finished’ something, even if it missed 60% of the whole (small) game I wanted to do…

My HTML5/JS game is named “PixelVolution”d

Even if I didn’t go as far as I wanted to, it was great fun ! I will do more game jams, this is sure !

Sleeping time now !

Submitted, but not done.

Hey everyone!

I’ve submitted my game to Ludum Dare. If you want to check it out, here’s the link. Screenshots:

Anyway, my game is submitted, but not done. I’m sure there will be code that needs fixing, which I’ll do during the last few hours. I’ll post my post-mortem after the 48 hours is done.

This is the first Ludum Dare I’ve actually completed with a game that resembles finished. Ah, that first time feeling 😀 Technically, I did attempt LD 20, but that failed miserably.

After the 48 hours is up, I’ll call my game finished. Until then, I’ve got everything covered so can spend the last 8 hours with the code. And maybe some caffeinated drinks.

I was planning to do the Jam this time round, but my team are all over the country right now on holiday :)

See you on the other side of the 48 hours.
