While others have been on and off, the three to usually jam together under this account are Ava, Marte and Morten. And such is once again the case!

Last times

So what have we done before? Among other things, this:

Many more jams have been made under this account (this is Ava’s 12th LD), but above is the collection of games that Marte has also participated, and starting from LD33, Morten as well. An Eva was also part of LD32, and an Ida for LD33.

This time

Ancient technology, eh? Well, we’ve got one for you. It’s a little bit too early into the process to show you the actual piece of tech, but we’ve got an idea and we got started some ten hours ago.

But basically, there will be sportsing. Sportsing with ancient technology. We don’t know much about sports, but let’s give it a shot. Isn’t this sort of what sportsers look like when they’re angry at the referee?

There will also be slo-mo galore! Plot twist: it only affects certain things/players on the sportsing field sometimes.

Obligatory lists

Who, what, how, when and where? We’ll answer at least some of those, as usual…

Who does what?

Besides everyone contributing ideas, the workload is divided along these lines this time:

  • Marte: 2D graphics and music
  • Morten: programming and perhaps 3D graphics
  • Ava: programming, 3D graphics and probably sound effects

What tools?

  • Programming/editing: Unity (C#)
  • Synchronisation: git using SourceTree and Bitbucket
  • Music: FL Studio on Android, possibly GarageBand
  • Sound effects: Audacity
  • Graphics: Photoshop, possibly GIMP

9 Months aftermath! LD #30

Hello there my fellow indie developers, today I want to announce that the game I’ve been working on for the past months has been released. This project started back in “Ludum Dare 30” (Connected Worlds). We saw potential on it so we decided to focus and develop a good game on that topic. Our entry BERTA was the starter point, then it went through many changes and almost 9 months later we finally finished!

(It’s not Berta but it is a ball).

This game is about a Spunky little ball that has the ability to switch between colors in order to interact with the environment of the level. Everything that matches the ball’s color becomes solid, therefore you have to choose wisely what color to use. For example, you’ll want to be the same color as the coins but not the same as the spikes! Or maybe you need that a certain platform matches your color in order to roll over it without falling.

So be prepared for a fun and innovative gameplay on your device… Also prepare to die a countless amount of times…

I hope you enjoy this game as much as I did when I created it! Also don’t forget to leave a review on the Store page if you actually had a great time playing it. :)

Please check out ArkBurst, a collaborative project between my studio Dobuki and Derail’d studio for miniLD #49 jam. I worked on the code and they did the art, level design and music (Ryuno is the composer). It’s a brick breaker and the player is the ball!

Gotta say, my projects look a lot more polished when I don’t draw the art myself ;-P

When the date comes, I dont know how but it left about 10h to complete the games when I hit the Ludum Dare contests xD

Well, this time I knew that I wanted to make a different game , it resulted into this

you can play here:

some explanations…
The game needs two people, I think it is important to play with other person from time to time, with this videogame I want to help people to get friends more near :)

I made this game with ShiVa 3D engine, one of the 14 best game engines out there right now…well, time for you to evaluate!
