Most people have commented about how difficult it is to play my game.

For those who have no idea what is it about, I’ve just added a gameplay video of my Ludum Dare 33 compo entry, My Cup of Fury.

I just fixed some bugs for my game (score not resetting, bad colliders, etc). Check out My Cup of Fury!

I am sorry if playing it is a painful experience.

Just in case if you’re playing the HTML5 (WebGL) build on, your keyboard controls won’t work once the game is done loading. You need to “activate” the area where the game is embedded by clicking on the “Unity WebGL” logo first or anywhere around there, then click on the game’s screen itself. Now you’ll be able to move around with the keyboard.

Sling #2 – I hate Rope Physics

So I feel some background on this may be in order. Since 2003 or so, I’ve been writing a book about a world called Azimuth. The main character utilises a wrist-mounted grappling hook called a Sling to do just about most things, because in Azimuth there is no ground; just endless sky. As I’m on the cusp of self publishing this book, it seemed like the perfect fit to realise Kiy’s adventures as a game where you take out enemies by whacking them with a metal clamp on string (similar to the┬áChinese Meteor Hammer).

Of course, it’s overly ambitious for a games jam. Even with the help of Ultimate Game Tools, my sling doesn’t seem to understand basic things, like physics.

I just… don’t even know.

Ok well here’s my final entry. It’s not really playable but it kind of works. Not too bad since I only started this morning. I think this could be a fun idea if I keep working on it…
