Pacbreakoban

by Wan - MiniLD 67 Entry

It's a little bit Pac-Man.
It's a little bit Breakout.
It's a little bit Sokoban.
It's Pacbreakoban!

8 levels of pure mashup'd puzzling!

----[ KNOWN ISSUES]----

* Breakout ball physics can be a bit annoying (use Up or Down to reset the ball)
* Rare glitches can happen with Sokoban blocks (restart the level with R)

----[ CREDITS ]----

This game was made solo by Wan (@mkalamalami). I mostly made this to discover Unity, and to warm up for the upcoming Game Dev Party, a French game jam.

Very good! I like what you did with the switching modes, and the puzzles were nice.

I don't think the breakout physics are annoying, they work well.
An interesting approach, well done!

Interesting! I like how you crammed three games into that. The pac man and sokoban parts compliment each other quite well. The breakout part feels like it doesn't help the puzzles much.

I found an issue where I swapped to pac man mode while a sokoban block was still sliding. It ended up overlapping a pac man pickup.

Pretty cool idea...shapshifting from one gameplay to another. Movement is a bit tricky

Very cool idea! I agree about refining the controls for both breakout and sokoban... but did really enjoy the idea. Nice job!

Nice idea, I found that when you move the move snaps takes more time that expected and you can collide with another object, maybe consider reducing the player size :D
