by Steven Miller - Mini LD 63 Entry

I had been working on a game for the whole week that seemed pretty cool, but I guess it was too ambitious, since I was only about halfway one day left. So, I decided to make a new game in that last day. So here is my super rushed game; I hope you enjoy it!

Tic-Attack-Toe is a combination of Tic-Tac-Toe and a turn-based shooter. Move across the board with your units and capture flags to claim spaces. Get three in a row to win.

Pause Menu
12 Maps
AI that almost works
3 different units
Everything (except for pausing, which is escape) is controlled by the mouse
Some audio from a game I made a month ago

Made using GameMaker Studio

Great game, but I think I've encountered a bug: the AI (Xs) have, in my 3rd game, just stopped. They aren't doing anything, part way into their turn, leaving a score of 3 squares all. Fix these bugs and maybe add more music and it would be a game I'd spend money on!

When did you download it? I think I fixed that bug a day or two ago, but it might still be in there. It was a problem where they had no possible moves, so they just sat there. An easy way to tell would be how many maps there are (old has 6 new has 12). Thanks for playing!

This afternoon, about 2 hours before posting that comment. There are 12 maps, so it must be the new version. It's the one on as the Game Jolt link didn't open for some reason which I assume is browser based (tried it on 2, didn't work on either, but I didn't bother with the third).

Thanks for letting me know, I'll look into it!

I found the problem, thank you! That helped a ton!

Neat game! I included it in my MiniLD #63 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :)
