Wow, I really love this. Puzzle games, simple games, and old styled games with such a color palette are my favorite types. You did a really great job. I used the same palette (or close) in my game; Pretty cool stuff.

Working fine here on Linux.

This was really awesome. Making the art style really minimalistic allowed you to make the mechanics really consistent and the levels well polished, great job! Also, the music is really cool.

Great little game you have submitted! The controls handle very nice, great job on the level progression, and nice music!

Some of the levels are criminally tricky, an element of luck may be involved, but you pull it off so we still feel in control.

On the negative side, it is a bit awkward to navigate the menu with left/right arrow keys. I lost my saved game by accidentally starting a new game, instead of loading.

Nice work!

The game is amazing, the menu is terrible.
Up/down keys, W/S keys did nothing.
I then randomly hit all letter and number keys, accidently finding that "f" activates fullscreen, trying enter, ctrl, shift, clicking, nothing worked.
Luckily I accidently hit the left button after I decided that the game was obviously broken for me.

The menu set my expectations for this game very low, which increased the surprise when I played the first levels and saw the potential the game has.

As I am not good at such games, I ragequit after taking my time to reach level 20 and failing miserably. :D
It's quite amazing how well polished and fun this game was.

Without the menu, this is a VERY solid experience!

I am running linux here. Having to install love2d just to play the game seemed very wierd, so I just ran the Windows version in Wine. Worked flawlessly.

This is a really cool game. The focus on minimalism really helped you get that high level of polish. I quit on level 15 (it's just so damn frustrating!) but I would've loved to have fought the boss.

@zanval, sorry for the trouble.
In fact, all the game is played with the arrow keys. In the menu, the left key is used to select and option and the right key is for confirming.

Instructions how to run on Linux would be helpful for those that have not used Lua/love before

Cool! The gif caught my interest and then there were even 'normal' levels before the boss fight :)
menu control is confusing ;)

1px is what caught my attention. 1 pixel is a brilliant title. No, I can't win this one, but I'm bad at fighting games. Very well done!

That was a lot of fun. So damn hard, but fun. Finished in 407, with 140 deaths. Not good on my end!

Started to get hand cramps, so had to quit around level 16. But quite a fun little game. I never felt that I grabbed a complete understanding of the mechanic, and seemed to resort to luck to get through a bunch of levels. But other than that, I'm really impressed by how you made an extremely minimalist game work well.

Cute little game! I included it in part 1 of my Mini LD #62 compilation video series, if you’d like to check it out!

YES I can't believe I did it! My time was 1655.8 with 407 deaths, which I think is pretty horrible, but I actually made it.
