MiniLD #62
Theme: Final Boss – hosted by zatyka – July 2015
This isn't completely original. I made a game called I love my circle with the same mechanics for the FGL jam a few weeks ago. I intend to release this game on mobile when it is ready. I couldn't resist the theme for this MiniLD so I ended up making a boss battle for this game. I assume that seeing as MiniLD isn't very strict no one will mind (let me know if there is a problem).
The aim of the game is to not become separated from your circle. You will lose after being separated for a short time.
I added a checkpoint when you reach the boss for this LD entry so that you are more likely to get the chance to beat it. There are two waves before the boss.
Expect a challenge.
Avoid trackpads (unless you are a trackpad hero).
Many thanks to finefin (http://www.finefin.com) for creating the music (the music is unfinished).
Let me know how you do.

Looks great, plays great. Very challenging though sometimes when too many objects are on the screen and they completely black out your circle.
Seems pretty hard. I played for a while and unfortunately didn't get to the boss. Would be nice to know how close I was to the boss (e.g. if I knew I was really close I might try again, but since I'm unsure it's a little easier to put down). Would definitely be cool to see this game on a mobile device.
Super awesome game. I included it in part 1 of my Mini LD #62 compilation video series, if you’d like to check it out! youtu.be/RsJfwrquboU
Fun game, very challenging. I will definitely look for this when it releases on mobile.
Doesn't really work with a mouse, but the design is great, and I can see this becoming really addictive. Simple graphics, but they look clean and don't need to be complex. Nice movement physics. I think you have a future hit on your hands.

Looks polished. It was a bit hard to play with a mouse, but I guess it's way simpler on a phone. If you were to port this game on smartphones, though (and I hope you will!), I suggest you change the font. Somehow, I felt like it didn't fit the "circle" theme of the game.
Apart from these cons, you've got a very solid game there. Congrats!
