Gravity Circle

by dcRfj15 - Mini LD 60 Entry

Platformer with shifting gravity, collect the pink star at the end of every level, and don't fall into the void.

How to play:
WASD keys to control the player, the key which makes the player jump is relative to the direction of gravity, for example, when gravity is pointing down, it is 'W', when gravity is pointing down, it is 'S', when gravity pointing left, it is 'D', when gravity is pointing right, it is 'A'.

Created under the Jam rules in 72 hours.
I didn't create the game with a theme in mind, although, I think that this could be an interesting (more casual) take on the "Connected Worlds" theme. Also, the "entire game on one screen" theme.

Tools Used:
- Bfxr
- Eclipse
- Java SE
- Excel
- Paint.NET

Sorry, i could not run the game (on linux). The error is, that you used "\" as a path separator, while linux uses "/".
But maybe it is not even supposed to work on linux? :(

- looks interesting

Cool. I know its kinda prototype but a timer thingy or a loading bar could help player to know when will gravity change. Other than this neat idea. Keep it up!

Sorry DrCicero, I (hopefully) fixed the issue. I never knew using "\" in a filepath leads to issues on Linux. Thanks for the feedback!

Anyway thanks for the feedback Mantlair, I want to create an improved version of the game soon, and I will definitely make it easier to detect the gravity change.

The idea and concept is great, but I find the game's difficulty to be too hard.

Really neat concept, though its super hard! I included your game in part 4 of my MiniLD #60 compilation video series, if you would like to check it out :)
