MiniLD #60
Theme: Any Past Theme – hosted by Tim Bumpus – June 2015
Theme: Tower
Rules: Jam
Ascend the tower and battle monsters using cards.
Take turns, drag cards and drop them on the thing you want to use them on. Normal cards take a turn to resolve. "Quick" cards apply immediately. You may take one Major action, or two minor actions on your turn.
My eyes were bigger than my stomach on this, it feels more like a proof of concept than a game. I was aiming for compo practice, but it really needed more time. You can't get very high up the tower, it's just not possible.

Cool card game with really good graphics for LD. And game idea is cool. Being able to see attacks and countering idea. Well i only play Hearthstone. And there was a game called Ants when i was little about building towers. But yeah this a cool card game. I am planning to make a card game for next LD as a board game. You gave me some inspirations(there is a typo probably). Anyway, keep up good work!
I think you did an excellent juxipolo. I really like the art that you created, the monsters, cards, and the room all fit together very well. Also, the gameplay was pretty neat. I don't get to play card games that often and I'm glad to have played this one. :D
This is really really fun. It may be the easiest to learn card battler ive ever played. You nailed the UI, i could understand how to play within the first room. i made it all the way to level 15 before quitting. my only complaint is that i never ran out of stamina so it was useless. add some ways to get new cards and build decks and i would buy this game!
I really like card games and this one was really well thought out, it was pretty fun playing it. Got to level 12 something (those damn shrooms constantly spamming spore are annoying as hell).
Love the sprites. Interesting game, great start! I included your game in part 1 of my MiniLD #60 compilation video series, if you would like to check it out :) https://youtu.be/gyHff6Xsbg8

I think this is an awesome idea, I had some fun playing this, and the UI was extremely clean and user friendly, so learning wasn't too hard. I really liked the drag-and-drop action for placing cards. My high score was getting to level 7
