@sebb, I suppose so, but the game is very short, so I decided I would increase play-time by tossing in a bit of extra difficulty...
I agree that if a game is short then some extra difficulty is ok, but when the difficulty is caused by bad game design then it is not. I thought the game looked like it would have been really fun if it weren't for the fact that for every 20 robots that went by I only hit one of them. If you could could you make it just a little easier to tell whether or not you can hit a robot?
@dkkarate, The ability to hit a robot is clearly indicated by the green area on the floor. If the robot is not on the green area, they are out of range and you can't hit them. If they are on the green area, a simple click will kill them. In what way is that "bad game design"?
@HawkSandwich It's bad game design when you click when they're in the green area and they don't die.
Congratulations! Of the hundreds of games that I've played, you created the first video game in my life that has made me motion sick. I had to see what happened when you completed the time machine so I can experience your game as completely as possible, and I regret that. That camera motion is the worst idea ever. Sorry.
Other than that... If you got rid of the camera motion and increased the difficulty by other means, it's not bad.
Hard game! I included it in part 6 of my MiniLD 53 compilation video series, if you would like to take a look :) http://youtu.be/OsBd2UH-4A0
