Tree OS

by Tosic - Mini LD 52 Entry

Hi! My 3rd LD! Third time is a charm, they say...
Anyway, this is a simulation of a retro OS.
To initalize: extract the files into your C:\ and thats it (You can make the shortcut, BTW start a TREE.exe)
When you start it, you can type in different commands, you can type in logoff to quit, or cls to clear screen.
There are 5 more commands (type in the word command before them) and those are: math, text, code, calendar and games!
Tip about command math: first type in +-/* depends what you wanna do, then type in two numbers, for example:
-
45
6
result: 39
Also when you type in command code, youll get ?, but just code (language is batch) if you want to run it, make an empty line!
dont worry, @echo off and pause are already written!
About games there are three: (type in their name to start them). All games are explained, exept wrapping, where you need to catch falling Os (to wrap them), retro isnt it? :D
- make sure that you go to my post "Who shall claim the trophy first?" and you might win the trophy (you will see the detailed desc. about it in the post!)
PS: This is for the celebration of the end of my fifth grade!
Please comment or ask whatever you need!
Tosic is out - back to the future!

very nice! I like the look and feel of the OS. :D I got alittle scared when i couldn't escape the program since i didn't know the command to logoff. Took me 15 minutes of playing around until i finally clicked the x button. This was a really cool program! :D I'd recommend that you tell the user the command to exit on startup :) Keep It Up! Overall i rally liked it :D
