Exit Door

by Link-NM - Mini LD 48 Entry

My first Ludum Dare entry! The game is in HTML5 using Contruct 2, so it should run on any modern browser and any OS. Had a hard time settling my initial idea for the game, but after that was done, everything went without issues.

You can use either the arrow keys or WASD to control the game. R restarts the current level in case you get stuck. There's 10 levels in total and the game will score you by the time you take. Good luck and hope you enjoy it.

Mmm, I got stuck on level 2. Don't know what to do.
Must provide some help.

@anokta: Thanks for the comment and glad you enjoyed it. :D I actually had more ideas for levels but didn't have enough time to implement all of them.

@ndebruyn: Don't lock the door. ;)

Got stuck where there's one set of spikes going up and at least three going to the left. That level demanded quite a lot more than the previous levels. The game had a really nice progression and interesting puzzles + skill challenges that quite nicely showed how they were to be solved while still leaving something to the player to figure out. So I'm a little sad, because it felt that you had introduced a nice set of mechanics in a really good way and now I wanted to get to try my brain and fingers on some levels before getting stuck.

Thanks for the comment. That should be level 8 and I understand what you mean. The original idea was that it was only one set of spikes coming from the right but during development, I somehow thought it would be more fun to add more surprise spikes since it was one of the last levels. :P It's only 3 sets, as you said, so don't worry for more surprises on that level.

Again, thanks for the comment and I'll definitely consider it for later games or when I get back to this idea. :)
