UPDATE: Fixed some silly mistakes and omissions in the manual, thanks to @JshCrrgn for pointing it out.

This game is meant to be a simple introduction to "low-level" assembler concepts. You control a robot moving through an area, by writing the code for its brain. Using a simple assembler-like language, you have to guide the robot to the portal that marks the end of the level. As you'll find out very soon, this is not easy!

I will offer a huge amount of Brownie Points* for the first person who implements anything vaguely near the complexity or results of A*.

The game itself is done in SFML/C++, but just in case it wasn't clear, the player has to write ASM code. I feel this makes it fit the "low-level" theme completely.

No release other than Windows planned, sadly. Sorry!

Please share any interesting versions of the code!

* Brownie Points not redeemable in any way.

This sounds like the perfect excuse for me to dust off my old textbook on Assembly Language. Can't wait to try it out.
