Craft and Conquer

[It's a multiplayer game, you can try it alone on host mode, but if you really want to enjoy the game, you have to play it with friends. But before, open your port: 4233]

Basic Goal:
-Hold as many small bases as possible to gain score points.
(There is 8 Capture Points and only Citizen can Hold these points
(Hold Left mouse button to select, Right click to move your units)

Unit Mechanics:
-Units spawn from their team's main base
-When in proximity of another unit, they will attack said unit.

Holding Points:
-The team with the most citizen units on a point is the one that can capture the point.
-Holding these will give you money to buy more units for battle.
-Every 30 seconds 1 score point is given to the owners of each point.

How to Win:
-The first player to gain 30 points wins.
-The game is timed (10 minutes) the person with the most points at the end of the alotted time wins.

A solid entry. Focussed on controlling strategic points to gain money and points, like a combination of gold mines and ruins from Age of Empires. Only thing that seems to be missing is pathfinding - units get stuck on all the obstacles (causing desync in rarecases). Looking forward to trying this in multiplayer. (any volunteers?)

It's a bit misleading to put that Linux version up. I tried to run it but I have to install wine and mono inside wine?

superjoe: It's an actual Linux build that requires Mono (no need for Wine)

Srd, We used a software called Craftstudio to make our game. This software is on Beta since 1 month ago only, it use many ressources to run a simple game. We have a pathfinder but we can't use it because the game crash with long distances ^^'

Ah, that's a pity. Have you tried using a precomputed pathfinding map? They increase startup time but minimise the cost during gameplay.

Wow. Amazing minecraft like style. There are issues with the pathfinding indeed, but it looks good.

Strangely remember helping with the original tittle art lol oh well it was never used and i prefer the new one
