Flash of the Titans: Kallipso Nikon

This is the first time that Team Tartan Paint has participated in a Game Jam and also first time working together as a team so hope you guys enjoy our first game.

How to Play:

You take the role of Titans that have overthrown the Gods but must now fight back against mythical creatures from Greek mythology.

The map is split into 3 different lanes which enemies will spawn onto. You must in turn spawn your units onto lanes to fight them and attempt to beat the commanders at their base.

The game is split into 4 units
and Energy.

Fire Water and Nature elements have variable attack strength depending on the enemy that they are fighting and the environment that they are fighting in.

Energy units have a high base strength and consistent damage making them ideal for pushing lanes but they cannot defeat/damage enemy commanders.

It is up to you to spawn the correct units at the correct time and places depending on the enemy troops and environment. Be careful however, as the environment is unstable and will change over time.

Was really confusing at first but then I figured out how things went and it seemed like the end result would always be the same if u just spam varieties of elements. The concept is a really great idea i think it should require the player to use strategy a bit more, I didn't feel it all that much.

Thanks for the feedback unfortunately we did not get6 round to balancing/testing the combat so this will be handy when we get round to giving the game a bit of a polish up.

really like the polish of the graphics and sound.I too was confused entirely upon start. not what I was expecting from seeing your progress earlier. Thank you for the detailed instructions in the menu. perhaps if they where integrated into the beging play ie.. click an arrow... it does this. would be better.

I liked the changing tile Idea etc. but it just didn't matter at all I did just fine just mashing buttons until the big screen came up. the only strategy was making sure the enemy didn't get to your base if you weren't defending it. love the over all theme and mood.

Yes, I too would have liked that the changing terrain would have made a significant difference in gameplay, but it just didn't matter, which is very sad.
