The most fun to be had is in Dogfighting Mode.

Thanks for the feedback. Can you elaborate on why deceleration of ships should be higher?
When you are moving on battle the ships bounces are really high and its hard to stop them. A small increase on deceleration would give the ships more stability on movement :)
It works on Firefox :)
Good job, really. I love the mothership + fighters concept.
And the bonus mode is cool too, but I get my ass kicked :(
Runs on Safari on the iPhone too. I mean you can't actually play it, but it runs!
The graphics are pretty bland, but the game is fun. The dogfighting mode is damn hard! I agree that the ships should stop when floating around (though I guess that would be kinda unrealistic), now they just seem to end up on all the sides of the map.
Wow lots of work defiantly went into this. I really enjoy the feel of the flying mechanics. Its challenging but fun and feels more real. Lots of content too, feels like a full game.
I had fun in the campain! Wished it was longer. I had problems clicking on the portal wish it was auto matic.
really liked the music. I love that you addded the dog fight part but wasn't a fan.. the sand box was interesting so I got to see the artilliery in action sadly when a side wins in sand box it crashes for me... Over all nice finish!
Well done, I can see that you put a lot of work in there. Has probably been fun to write the AI with this kind of physics?
I like the physics as they are. Sure it's challenging, but for me it feels fair.
I really like the idea of melee space units, unfortunately they seem a bit week. But that might only be the case because it's hard to see what ship caused what damage in larger fights.
It's kind of irritating that you can target asteroids but it takes forever to destroy them. I didn't wait for one to be destroyed but I wonder why you can select them as a target at all?
I personally had much more fun playing the campaign than in dogfight mode, but it really is a nice addition.
The music fits great btw, only the "You really want to send me in there" voice got on my nerves after a while :)
Overall I really enjoyed playing this, good job!
Great audio. :) Love the music and the voice overs.
Honestly though, I found the traditional controls a bit clunky. I was able to get past the first combat sequence okay - but as soon as I got to having to fight the bigger force, I just completely died. I couldn't keep track of my own units to tell them what to do. :S
Cool setting in outer space as well. I haven't seen this done since the HomeWorld and StarTrek Armada serieses (plural for series).
Thanks for the feedback guys.
@timtipgames - yep writing the AI was a ton of fun. One thing I didn't have enough time to do was implement upgrades - where you could buy AI upgrades that would make them act smarter.
If you think the melee space units are weak, you certainly did not get to level 11 in dogfighting mode. Here's me playing it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vye8Sfs3rFM 1 minute in (it used to be level 3)
> why you can select them as a target at all?
Why not! :)
Hey ! I want to play but I can't understand how to move my ship ( he rotate and then he is like block )
Wow, very impressive! Though I have to say, controlling attacks was rather hard because there was no friction, and my ranger units mostly didn't hit anything. And a save button would be handy too, so that you don't have to start all over when you die xD
But other than that, GREAT work!
@Makio maybe watching one of these videos will help? http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLviMr_WImMhHNhxKwUNYzyOonVMOTQpBz
Great game. Very fun, I love the way ships control and very nice work with the incidental music. Hope you keep working on this, I would love to see more.
Finally tested, I don t know why I can t manage first time, it s nice and i take pleasure to read your dev journal ! :)
Dogfighting mode is really fun, but after every level (re)load the framerate decreases, so after a few levels it was unplayable (~ 10 fps). (Playing on Windows 7 with Opera)
Very polished, and the best use of audio I've seen so far. An RTS in a frictionless Newtonian environment is a good idea, but the resulting difficulties in aiming create a disconnect between the expected and actual results of my orders.
I would have liked a longer campaign, because I'm not adept enough with asteroids-style controls to enjoy the dogfighting mode. The parallax background made it difficult to judge my velocity when no other game objects were in the viewport.
Nice & fun game :)
Only complain would be about controlling the ships. I can't master my ship's movements
Overall probably my favourite (so far at least) out of this jam. There's lots of stuff to do and it's very solid in all fronts.
Dogfighting mode is challenging and lots of fun.
Very well done. There are a few bugs, such as you have to reload the page if you switch tabs in the web version, but otherwise, it's a very good game.

Deceleration of ships should be higher and game doesnt load until you refesh. Also on my first try a rock made my mothership rotate a lot while moving xD. Other than that, really well Done :D Had much fun playing it.
