All Your Base!...

by Yozz - 7dRTS / Mini LD 44 Entry

CONTROL TUTORIAL: first clicked planet is the source (blue marker). Second clicked planet is the target (red marker). To send ships click the source-planet and then click and hold the target-planet.

Note: you can send ships from one source to multiple targets, but you can`t send ships from multiple sources to the one target. Source marker will disappear when the last sent ship will reach the target, then you will be able to choose another source.

Note 2: you can`t send ships from your base to enemy base directly. Use neutral planets.

Advice: keep 5-10 ships on your base.

This is the space RTS i`ve been working this week. Not actually for LD#44 but why not? I need a feedback and i want to share things i love to do. So you`re welcome, play and comment!

P.S. special thanks to everyone who will test HTML version on tablets and smartphones.

This looks intriguing. The training program says that it's over before either one of us wins, and then clicking doesn't work anymore. Clicking on mission list does nothing for me.

"Mission List" is a small update that will be ready by the end of this week.
About the end of the program... i`ll check this out, thanks.

Is there only one level? The controls seemed lagging so often it was too late to tun my guys back and Id loose the earth. I really like the over all packaging.

No, there are 2 levels but all versions except Web have a bug. I`ll fix it in a few hours.Controls are not lagging, they are... specific :) And thanks a lot, i`ll pay them more attention.

It runs smoothly on my android nexus 4 using google chrome. But I gave up due to the control scheme. It's really not a good idea not to explain a control scheme when it is so contra intuitive. Just my opinion :)

Yes, yes, yes, my fault. In the next version tutorial will be more tutorialistic :)
Thanks for your feedback.

I wish there was a way to quickly unselect the source. I would often send ships to a planet from the Earth, wait a second and then try to send ships to the other planet, only to accidentally select that planet instead. Then I'd want to select the Earth again and end up sending my ships from the planet back to Earth.

Then the bad guy would take the planet while my guys were pointlessly flying around the solar system... :)

Looks very good. Controls are not very intuitive at first, and I don't really understand the numbers, but it's fun.
