Not a bad idea, but it soon ends in clickind wildly around the screen hoping to hit some balls. (It appears double left clicking on red balls works also...) Music is interesting and kinda different, but all those colors hurt my eyes after some minutes of play, so I had to quit... Sorry!

@Martin_Monosys
I agree that the game gets into a clicking frenzy a bit soon. It's supposed to be a no win points game like Tetris but I myself can't seem to get more than 450 points. (Which doesn't take long to get to. )

Thanks for trying out the game. :)

Fun little game. Mashing keyboard is wild!

Okay, my Score is 1804, I only have 5 balls on the screen, and the time is 969. Can I stop now?
*looks at your score* *looks at mine* What the heck, what game were YOU playing? The one I played was apparently much easier. :P Thoughts:
-The reason the whole "no win condition" thing works for Tetris is that in that game, you're constantly thinking and doing something new, which would be enough in itself, and it constantly gets harder. Your game stops getting more difficult after the first two minutes and the only thing you're doing is mindless clicking. May I suggest that instead of levels, you linearly increase the spawn rate with time?
-If you could somehow give the circles anti-aliasing, that would be great.
-The particle effect when you destroy a circle isn't enough. Maybe if it made more of a "pop" sound effect and animation?

Oddly enough, this game doesn't burn my eyes too bad. I guess it's just that the other one's colors filled the entire screen.

@GaTechGrad
Thanks.

@Puxxlem00n
Thank you for the suggestions. I'm thinking of adding a bit more to the gameplay to make it less mindless.

Linearly increasing the spawn rate with time sounds like a suitable solution for those people who are better than me. **Hmph** Perhaps I should add that in after the last level change.

Well done on your score.

The trick is to alternate focusing on one circle type at a time. First, get all the reds. Then all the blues. Then all the yellows. Repeat. That way you aren't just clicking randomly and you have a sort of progress checklist to keep track of.

Now that's an idea to explore.

I hope to get the post-compo version done before LD 27.

I meant that to mean the strategy I used to get a high score, but if you want to use it as an enforced game mechanic, be my guest.

Lol It's pretty much I how played the game. If you played with a mouse, then it's probably the reason why you got that score. ;)

I've been developing this on my laptop and I didn't get the chance to play it with a mouse before the submission.

Nope, just a trackpad, haha.
