A Game Appears

by Jacic - Mini-LD 39 Entry

A basic Simon clone, capable of generating sequences as long as you can repeat them.

Last LD (number 25), I really should have made a mobile, game, as I had pretty much just got in-depth with Haxe+NME, but I didn't. Now, I have made two Android games in total. :)

(The other game is available here! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jacobwgames.avoider.Avoider)

I'm trying to play the web version, but none of my mouse clicks seem to do anything. The only time it worked is the click and hold to get past the first screen.

Ah, sorry about that. The problem had to do with the size of the game window, which is odd, because I specifically took that into account in my code.

Anyway, it's fixed now, but this means that the Android version probably needs to be fixed, at least on some devices.

It looks like there are still some game window size problems on the web version. It looks like the flash is scaling to the size of the entire desktop, rather than the browser window.

frnknstn: That's odd, I'm not having any problems with it. You are visiting the index.html page, right?

A nice follow the leader type game but I do have a couple of issues with it. First, clicking on the actual colors (instead of the color buttons below) should act like clicking on a button. I was confused when nothing happened until I realized that I had to click on the buttons not the graphic. Second, you should have the color selected flash so it is possible to notice duplicates if the sound is off.

Simon is a fun game... but I second everything Spelchan said - it would be nice if it worked more naturally like the real-life Simon game. I like your pixel font.
