Planet Destroyer's Assistant

I have decided to try the "You Are the Villain" theme from last time since I was unable to participate. This is why I consider it Hindsight. For this reason, I have tried to finish the game in a low amount of time, with the total being around ten or twelve hours.

Planet Destroyer's Assistant is a game where you must destroy all rockets trying to escape while the Earth is being blown up. You must wait at least three minutes until you are successful.

This seems easy enough, until you realize that the farther away you are, the slower you move. And more and more people keep trying to leave!

You must make it to 3 minutes to win.

Use WASD or Arrow Keys to move, and Space to use a bomb.

The original version contained music that broke the rules, but that is fixed now. I guess this does fit the theme of hindsight pretty well...

This may not work on some computers- I am aware of the issue, and I apologize while I work on fixing it (if I ever do).

Nice game. I agree with you. I thought it was very easy but then... a lot of rockets showed up ^_^

I couldn't get it to run. No error or anything, it just wouldn't start. :/

It looks fun though.

Ran great on a Mac through Parallels VM. First time I got to 2 minutes and lost. Second time I realized I could also move up. Lastest 20 seconds longer. :) I Nice fx and fairly novel maneuvering.

Fun and interesting game mechanic. Never finished the game as the game starts getting hard at the 2 minute mark. If you wanted an even more challenging game, I would check for collision detection as I was able to travel through ships then drop a bomb on them.

Also, I tried different collision detection with the bombs, but I feel like for gameplay reasons this was the best choice. It might look bad, but I feel like it was the most fun.
