Well, Mike ran in to problems getting working properly with about 12 hours left in the Compo, so this is the backup plan.

Cross The Room

The goal is to bring as many balls as possible to the other side of the room. You can control the 4 obstacles with keys D, F, J and K :
- D : makes the ball bounce on the jump pad.
- E (hold) : lowers the red barrier.
- J : switches the position of the bridge.
- K (mash) : pushes the ball up onto the exit platform.
Balls keep coming at an increasing frequence, until you miss 3 of them.

That was our first gaming jam ever. One of us had some experience with unity, while the other two (including me) had barely read a couple tutorials.
For this reason, we ended up sticking to very basic concepts of unity : rolling balls, a few obstacles and a simple UI.

In the end, it was a fun experience, and we shall try to do something better (or at least prettier ^^ ) next time !

That's one of the most original takes on a rhythm game I've ever seen, quite impressive :D
There could be a minor issue in that it seems to be impossible to fail the last obstacle, so players can just spam K without looking there. Maybe an ability to overshoot a ball by pressing too much, or something similar, would make for a better balance.
Otherwise, it plays quite solidly, good job!

Hah, nice idea, and well executed! Got a kind of oldschool charm about it. Perhaps the timing on the F is just a little too punishing though?

The timing on F ? You mean D ? Note that the F key needs to be held.

Very nice game. I love multitasking type of games. The feel and play of the game was awesome. The concept of the game was well done as well. Overall awesome game. Keep it up!

Oh man, this is not something I am good at. :D Not a real use of the One Room theme here, aside from it visually taking place in a room.

The mechanics are simple but challenging. Good job there.

Graphics are a little cheesy, but have their charm. I like the use of the piano for the actions, but sound effects for the balls would've helped.

Addicting fun game. I enjoyed it, would have been fun if there were more levels though. But because of the time limit I understand. Good job!

Nice little game. It got little repetitive after a while but I understand that because of the time limit. Pretty solid entry!

Dunno if the issue is web only, but I had a very consistent bug where at the final segment (K) the ball would often get stuck and neither fall down / enter the door or jump up to finish the level. Another ball would roll in at the beginning of the level, but once I got that one to the stuck one, the stuck one was in the way and the new ball just fell down and couldn't get up, so it basically broke the game until the next reset. :c

Was a little scared that I'd have to keep track of some wonky figuration at first, but once I saw the level and found out that DFJK matched up with the things on the screen, I was relieved. c:
