Well, Mike ran in to problems getting ldjam.com working properly with about 12 hours left in the Compo, so this is the backup plan.

Jumping Jeeves

by RoboRob - Jam Entry

This game is about love and affection. Affection towards the lovable beings of love and friendship, that we call cats. Those sweet furry little demons are out there to push your stuff from the shelves all the time. Time to become Jumping Jeeves, the savior of idols.

You are supposed to save your lords belongings, in order to keep your job, and save money. But you really don't want to pick every and each item that drops
Since damage causes loss of life, you dummy. ;)

To gain life, pick up the lucky cat
You catch the items with your silver platter, like a true butler does.

to answer the age-old question: "WHAT ARE THE CONTROLS?!?"
Your mouse.

Edit: Looks like Unitys WebGL doesn't support lowpass filters for the sound, which is a shame. So the real experience can only be heard with the downloadable version.

oh! Nice! And it's also online! Can I find it on indiexpo? I'm making videos about the games of this Jam, but only about the games hosted also on indiexpo! Tell me if you will add it, so I can include it in my next video ;)

Ha! That is one sprightly butler! Loved the gameplay and atmosphere of this - very amusing and enjoyable. Soundtrack was spot-on too!

Great concept, it takes some time to learn to control your movement, but it's definitely fun.

Awesome idea! I really love the slow effect, gives the feeling like you are a pro!

But it gets repetitive very soon, maybe some power-ups, or variation on the mechanic give you more interesting gameplay. But good work and idea!!

hehe this is really fun. There's a few annoying glitches though. Like sometimes even if you touch the falling ovject it goes through you, or if you're on your last heart and try to catch the falling object, sometimes you just lose when you touch it.

@Soundless_dev You can control the plate with mouse pointing, and trying to catch items with the plate. Axes, maces and swords make you lose life if you pick them.
