Well, Mike ran in to problems getting working properly with about 12 hours left in the Compo, so this is the backup plan.

Dragon Defroster

by aeveis - Compo Entry

Please help these dragons by melting snow so they can meet their friends.
They are too cold to move in the snow and some have frozen...!

The idea came about from wanting the player to generate a room space.

Really cute! I love the effect the snow makes when it melts

Definitely cute - much more interesting than I first thought, ended up playing until the end. Some issues where I think the collision rects for the ice things are maybe a bit off? Great stuff though.

Super adorable! The audio and graphics were great, really felt like an oppressive frozen environment. The controls were really interesting too. They have just the right balance of finesse and being out of your control.

Love the concept but sometimes it was very hard to move the creatures to a certain position.

Liked the game. The dragons did perfer to walk over the snow in a direct line towards eachother. This made dodging the traps somewhat harder.

Played it till the end!
Lovely art!
Made me feel so much better when I warmed them up and made them jump together ^-^''

Overall an absolutely lovely game. I have only one issue - collision with ice spikes are really unforgiving. It's frustrating to feel like I've gotten a solution only for an errant one-pixel movement to run my dragons straight into restartville. ^_^;

Well done interpreting the theme! my gut reaction was how is this related to one room, but your description makes this really unique from every idea i had during the jam

Oh my god it's so adorable. I've noticed that even after failing a level, if you continue to get the dragons together, you can still beat it and move on. minor bug aside, this was an amazing entry! thank you so much.

A really nice idea very well executed. Graphics are really cute (love how the dragons are when frozen). The melting/frozing animation is also impressive (detail, I know, but anyway!).
Could easily see this game with a dozen levels more :)
Really enjoyed it.
Good job sir!

Cute and clever. Really nice, simple mechanics and really fun gameplay with nicely designed puzzles.

Very enjoyable game! It felt finished from the moment i started which very few compo games manage to do! The controls are very interesting, the pixel art is adorable, and the music is cute a well. 5/5!

They sometimes took curious pathing decisions straight into obstacles but I completed the game nevertheless because... well, because it was lovely and fun, of course!

It was fun, but a bit clumsy. I didn't really get how are dragons moving, they don't always go completely straight (so I they would hit spikes). Fire doesn't move when mouse is too far so I couldn't make fast moves.
Despite being a bit irritating because of all that, this game is great.
