Well, Mike ran in to problems getting ldjam.com working properly with about 12 hours left in the Compo, so this is the backup plan.
A weird pseudo educational fantasy math game...??? *headscratch*

Creator's note: I certainly didn't intend the game to turn out this way, it wasn't even supposed to resemble anything mathsy or educational... but it just kinda did, because of my zero artistic ability and time and resource constraints. So if you find yourself having some kind of sadistic perverse fun with my weird creation, let me know in the comments :)

Can work as an educaative game for children to get quickness with math.
Nice education style game. Some UI changes and tweaking to the difficulty curve are needed though.
The sense of urgency was done well.
You should have added Sound to the list of things to Rate, I love how the music speeds up and the sounds effects are nice too.
Excellent mood also, but I can't rate that either :(
That was really fun
Was fun once I realised what the game rules were. I did find myself ignoring most of the text and scanning for the numbers and keywords like "sells" or "finds".
Stuck to the theme well and was good fun once it got going.
If my maths exams had screenshake too I probably wouldn't survived long either.
Great game! Was a bit surprised with the shake effects, made a great mood! Could've been cool with some multiplication, divisions and so on. Took some seconds before I learned how it worked, so lost a bit of time there the first round!
Nice one. I actually enjoy these kind of math questions, so yes I had some fun with it. It would have been even better, if there was any connection between the platforming and the math questions. At the moment they are very disconnected.
Still a fun first entry. Keep it up!
Took me back to elementary school math. It's odd, because I feel like if it were just the math problems I would've been fine but making them word problems added that extra level of difficulty. I think adding a more clear sign of why things were getting rough would really take it to the next level, though I do like it now. Very interesting idea.
Exceptional! It really could work as an educational game, do try to develop it further!
I really liked the lore behind the math problems! The music really gave the sense of urgency. Well done!

Good enough, but it's really hard to do math problems that fast, even for a person as good at mental math as I am. Still, it works well enough I suppose.
