Well, Mike ran in to problems getting working properly with about 12 hours left in the Compo, so this is the backup plan.

Stick Together

by Jalict - Jam Entry

WASD for movement
Space for Pickup and Drop

Run around in the woods and gather sticks in order to have the biggest... pile of sticks.

So yeah. That's about it.

The bigger the pile, the more you are winning against others!

(I wanted to make this Multiplayer. But do to planning I couldn't. Which made A lot more sense in both the theme and gameplay)

Was fun, but kinda needed more than just sticks.

Pretty Cool.
Walking was bit glitchy

Animations were really nice. The camera was god awful, move it lower to the ground and let me see the horizon rather than just my feet and the ground. Movement was okay when you are going forward but when you stop and try to turn without any momentum I dont know exactly what is happening since I just see downward and it looks like I'm just sitting there. Oh and moving backwards is glitchy as hell. Game is pretty cool tho.

Its artistic, collecting a pile of sticks represents our society, right? Running through life collecting stick or money without ever having a real goal or purpose. I love it.

Cool idea! Would have been hilarious in multiplayer :D
Don't really see where the themes come in.Like one chatroom?
Anyway, as previously said, the camera & movement is really weird. A "normal" third person camera would just have been fine imo.

So cool idea and great animations!

I'm sorry, but there's really not much to this game at all. It's clear that multiplayer is supposed to be the real meat of the game, and you didn't have time to finish that. You made a solid attempt, though. The graphics were fine, indeed.
