Well, Mike ran in to problems getting working properly with about 12 hours left in the Compo, so this is the backup plan.

Ultimate Tavern Manager 2017

by Elisée and friends - Jam Entry

Fit your very own tavern out and satisfy your customers' wishes for food, no matter how wicked.

First, place at least one table in your tavern, then click the doors to open up to customers.

As customers come in, they'll express their wants:

* Drink or meal
* Sweet or savoury
* Some particular ingredient they like
* Whether they want a small or big portion

You should try and craft recipes matching their wishes at the bar.

To start crafting a recipe, buy at least one ingredient (left click on it) and then use it to filter recipes by right-clicking on it.

Listed recipes will go from red (disabled) to white (available) as you buy all the required ingredients. Once a recipe is displayed in white, click on the recipe in the list to craft it.

Your meal or drink will appear in the top-right area. Click anywhere in the tavern to exit the crafting interface, and when your customer sits down at a table, click on the table to serve the selected meal or drink.

To complete a day, you need to have at least one more satisfied customer than there are angry customers leaving your tavern.

Some ingredients cannot be bought. They can only be acquired by using traps to catch some customers. Place a trap somewhere a customer is likely to walk, then trigger it at the right time by clicking on it.

Oh, and tables with cloth increase the customers' patience, cause they get all mesmerized by the beautiful motifs.

Have fun! :)

It looks beautiful! But it's a bit "complicated" and i needed some time to figure it out.

Man the music and the art are AWESOME!!! After 5 minutes of trying I couldn't figure out how to give the customers what they wanted, so I gave up. Needs more instructions!

This is a really lovely game let down by the tiny hard to understand icons for customer preferences that flash up only for a moment. :(

oh! Nice! And it's also online! Can I find it on indiexpo? I'm making videos about the games of this Jam, but only about the games hosted also on indiexpo! Tell me if you will add it, so I can include it in my next video ;)

I managed to satisfy some customers but maan.. it's really hard to know what they want! I don't understand when they're asking for salt nor a plate, and don't find the traps either..
It's a shame cause the game seems really polished and complete! Top notch in terms of audio and visual quality! Maybe I'm just a noob but I can clearly see the potential in this one, so I'll give you 4 stars of encouragement :D

Wow! Nicely done in 72 hours, looks very polished! Audio is just 5/5, I’ve just listened to the music without playing for a while. Also nice art.
But gameplay… deserves to be much more obvious. It looks like it is level 50 with the hard mode or something. It was really hard for me to figure out what they want, how to cook it. Recipes are in text while ingredients are icons (which are faded for some reason). I just don’t have enough time to read all of this :)
However, it was pretty fun to make customers fall down the pit.

Looks amazing, even though I have no idea what I am doing.

I really can't understand what I'm supposed to be doing. I managed to get through the first day by giving two people wine and one person a tomato salad, but I don't really know why that worked. It isn't very clear what they want by their speech bubbles.
