Dark Dreams

Dark Dreams is an action-platformer that focuses on creating a haunting atmosphere whilst challenging the player to complete difficult levels. The goal of the game is to outrun your nightmare and make it safely to bed.

Controls: A-D to move, Space to jump, E to interact.

This LD was pretty messed up for us, people were really busy so a lot of stuff didn't get finished, also we ran out of time to implement all of the art assets. Little dissapointed with the outcome, but at least we made it.

PS. Unsure of Linux/Mac build stability.

i really liked the concept. the characters where very unique and the black fog was a great addon. great work!

Welp, I should not have played this 2 in the morning...

Nice work! The art style was pretty interesting, and you established a really solid mood with the audio.
What really impressed me was how the gameplay and the premise fit together - made it feel like a chase.

so... Controlls are not responsive, death time is too long, difficulty is unbalanced... but i rate this highly because there is something on it! Surely it has potential! :)

В эту игру нужно добавить не много анимации, и тогда игра обретет хороший вид. В целом игра хорошая.

I felt more than this could have been achieved in three days, but that doesn't mean it's a bad game, it just needs to be polished.
It's a good game overall!

couldn't get past the 2 walls climb part, but it was nice, some animations could help a lot

I think this game needs better level design … Having to memorise the level by dying repeatedly is not difficulty, it is just annoying. There are many leaps of faith, and I'll be honest – when I reached a dead end after the 'S' like section, I just gave up.

The black character would also sometimes be very far below the player character, so much so that I couldn't estimate where the death boundary is.

Good start! Nice creepy vibe, sounds are great. Black smoke effect is cool. Keep working on this, it has potential.
