Fight for glory in our top down action rpg 'Medieval Fantasy Boss Fight Simulator'.
Go through the gate to enter the BOSSROOM.
Exit the BOSSROOM at any time to spend your CRYSTALS.
Buy, equip and upgrade weapons at the BLACKSMITH.
Heal and level up your character at the BONFIRE.
Defeat the boss to beat the game.

Fixed all (I hope) gamebreaking bugs!

There are some bugs in the game right now.
Don't use the bonfire or blacksmith for now.

Love this game. Challenging, tight controls, good feedback.

Only thing I'd like to see is a 25% increase in starting damage to feel balanced.

The game seems to crash on my ubuntu with firefox. Seems to have some kind of infite loop, memory leak or something similar :S
The game start and when the player begin to play it starts to eat mem and cpu. :(

I think the concept of a "souls-like but just the boss fights" behind this is pretty solid, but in addition to being a bit of a tenuous connection with the theme, the boss is far too easy. I died a couple times at the start while getting a feel for the controls, but once I caught on to the fact that you can just roll towards the pillars it was a breeze. With better balancing, I could see this being a lot more fun!

Great boss battle, love how well the RPG elements are balanced and effective. Graphics look nice and it's quite challenging.

Not a fan of the ESDF control scheme but it was a good idea to allow use of the directional keys.

Played this for quite a while, an interesting concept, pushing your luck to get as many crystals as possible then escaping, good idea.

Like the graphics and the sound.

Wow, amazing! But a little bit too hard for me. I bought all the upgrades and defeated both arms. Couldn't beat the body of the boss though. Had a lot of fun! Maybe upgrading could go a little bit faster, I would try to beat the boss again then. Good job!

Very good. Maybe not losing everything at death would have been better. In the games you are clearly inspired by, dying is actually not that bad. It's too demoralizing to lose all progress with one mistake. It's a bit annoying to not be able to strike at all when the stamina is too low. There should at least be some feedback when you can't roll or strike because stamina is slow. A grunting sound perhaps.

I thought the sound and graphics were pretty good.

The key bindings are a little unusual. C and X are kind of hard to reach when using ESDF. Shift works, though.

Fantastic entry.
The idea is just great, and the execution fun. Wouldn't mind the controls to feel tighter, but overall it's very solid and very fun to play! Congrats :)

Fun game. Great artwork and sounds. I didn't really understand at first that crystals were acquired through fighting the boss, but once I figured that out it became pretty fun.

I love this idea, and the execution of it. It's a little more grindy than DS, but great feel and really impressive work for 72 hours!

Hard game but a lot of fun. The controls feel solid which is a bonus for this kind of game.

The art style is pretty good too. I didn't manage to get to the ending, unfortunately, but it was fun while it lasted. Didn't realise at first I could exit the room mid-battle to heal and upgrade.

A little unbalanced from what I saw, would've prefered wasd controlls(why esdf?) Other than that tight controlls and rewarding gameplay! Great work.
