Well, Mike ran in to problems getting ldjam.com working properly with about 12 hours left in the Compo, so this is the backup plan.
Game description:
Will you ever get out of this prison cell? Well... you can certainly try.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Controls:
WASD, mouse, E to Interact
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dev commentary:
I mainly focused on creating a good visual feeling. Game usually tells you exactly what you need to do so it`s more of a short story than an adventure game.
Don`t forget to explore the cell and see what your character has to say about different things during different days.
Thanks for stopping by! :)

Technical stuff:
-Game was created in Unity3D.
-Programmed in C#.
-Models were created in Blender.
-Sound effects generated via BFXR.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Linux and Mac builds were not tested so they may be buggy.
Watch gameplay video if you run into some trouble.

Wow. This game was really quite impressive, especially since it's so deceptively simple! The cel-shading looks super cool too. Keep up the great work!
Nicely done. Loving the detail of the cell. Really good looking models.
I really enjoyed the art style and the story. It was fun to play and to follow along with the narrative.
The only problem is that there wasn't more!
If you continue to develop this it would be awesome to have more then once choice in a situation. Being able to ask others what they did and discussing unique solutions would be so much fun!
Amazing job! Also thanks for the feedback on my game :)
very good artwork! Really impressive for 48 hours. Unfortunately I got stuck when on day 8 when I somehow kicked the chair away, and then it would not let me complete my task? Other than that, it is great!
I liked the setting of the game. I got stuck after picking up the rope and couldn't get any further. But I saw the lets play afterwards. I must have missed the hook.
I like the concept, but I think the puzzles could use some work, right now it's mostly read what to do, and then do it. It's really impressive would you created I also like the graphics, a bit too much AO for my taste :)
Cheers
nicely done. although, it didn't make sense to sleep that often. and, in 34 days, he did nothing?
Thank you guys :) I`m really happy that you enjoy playing it.
I think the art is great. The texts got a bit messy some times. Great job
I just loved the cartoony graphics/style, thanks for providing a timelapse as well. Nice little puzzle! I was stuck at one point until I figured out I just needed to sleep again :) I thought the rope would be the end of me lol
Really great job
Beautiful mood. Great light choice for the scene. The game play was simple but really well executed. Congrats
Great looking graphics! I love the length you chose to make the game too.
Even though it was short I was engaged the whole time. I was interested to see what kind of progression there would be as the days (years?) passed.
Amazing game :) Style and gameplay so cool. Sounds are not quite well but that's okay. By the way we had similar idea for jam but we refused it.
Thanks guys! :)
@Ygogo - I agree that sounds are nothing special. I am not very good with audio, so I just generated them with BFXR. But they still ended up better than I expected :D
I am going to check your game right away. It looks really interesting :)
If you'll need some sound for your next game, just write me - den33.info@gmail.com I'll be glad to make some sound design for you. :)
Like the graphics and the ending!
The text is a bit annoying as when I turn the head it's immediately replaced by the other one, so I can't read it.
@scorched Yep.. the text is definitely a little bit annoying. I thought of a possible solution but there was no time left to start implementing it :/
Thanks! I`m happy that you like it! :)
Not bad, looks great, but it doesn't really give the mood. I think some ambient music/sounds would've make it better.
oh! Nice! Can I find it on indiexpo? I'm making videos about the games of this Jam, but only about the games hosted also on indiexpo.net! Tell me if you will add it, so I can include it in my next video ;)
I think the most amazing thing to me is the fact that all of the scene is set up using only unity primitives by what i gather from the source, just cubes and cylinders.. amazing. Also, I couldn't get my lighting right in my own entry, this does it so simply yet looks so awesome.
Good work man!
@Greek85 Sorry but I won`t be posting there.
@erikiene Thank you! There is also a timelapse link in the description if you would like to see how it was put together. Cubes are something very dear to me :D It`s a style that I developed over time. Simple primitives + almost no textures. Sorry that the Unity project file is such a mess :D
Ha! Won't lie - it's horrible!
I'll check out the timelapse and once again - great work, would attempt suicide again.
I made a X and finally this game. Yeah! :D
Youre art style ist wonderfull. But I think the ambient occlusion level can be less.
As I saw your galow I search after an other way to escape and than came this little bomb.
And your game exit with your escape was a great idea. :)
Let's start with the bad: It is short. Otherwise it is a really enjoyable LD game. That unexpected moment made was a good addition giving the story more depth.
Super impressive stuff for 48h even if it is simple!
Very pleasing graphics, smooth gameplay, a nice little story and I liked the SFX too. Only thing it could have used is maybe some ambient music to get the mood just right, but that's me nitpicking about stuff and 48 hours is a very short time to achieve all that. Amazing work!
Lovely graphics, very interesting game! I included it in my compilation video series of the Ludum Dare 37 games, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/OCZRRN3xYEY
Awesome take on the story!! Simple but gave me realizations in life!
You done great job and create very good prototype. I think this can become a big game, there is so many things what can be included )
I also included this game in an article of my favorites! http://fireside.gamejolt.com/post/jam-favorites-ludum-dare-37-gwqmcmek

Overall I was really impressed with the gameplay. It's a simple concept done well. My only regret is that the story didn't play out longer than it did.
