Well, Mike ran in to problems getting ldjam.com working properly with about 12 hours left in the Compo, so this is the backup plan.

At first I was like this is cute, then I said oh god what happened! I wasn't really sure what do in the room with abc blocks. You can really add some fun quirky animations!
Sorry guys, the baby levels is not very explicite. Avoid all the shadows to see the finale. It will restart the level, every time a "shadow" touches you. It's hard, I know :(

I didn't really understand what to do when the fireballs started flying everywhere. Good game, though. :)
did i finished the game? I don't know. Maybe. Finished the shadow-blood room and then the credits. some animations would have been great. But the idea was good. Some more informations would also be great. It was short fun anyway! :D
The last level was a bit hard to grasp, the shadows are flying in really fast :D.
I liked how it went from "relaxing" to "ho lawd help me" in such a short time.
The fact that you have to press space again after text is a bit problematic when there are waves incoming, I found myselft "stuck" quite some times.

The art is charming, but I'm not really sure what to do in the game, or what is going on at all! I interacted with a few things, and then there seemed to be some bullet hell sections which eventually became crazy difficult. I have no idea how you're meant to dodge the shadows, as the character is really slow!

I'll admit, I almost rated low and left because I couldn't make anything happen in the room. I tried again after reading all the comments and then started guessing at keys until I saw that space bar changed the ? over your head into text. From there I played up until the Shadow room, but it's too early in the morning to memorize patterns through trial and error :D I was never good at Battletoads.
I liked the art style. The shadows were really hard to dodge. It was interesting though.

3 animation frame for the "Hero" would have gone a long way !
I'm not sure what the game is about. I visited the rooms, avoided fireballs and shadows and saw credits screen :-) Is it all?
I really liked the atmosphere. Art was enough to explain things. I did not get the story though. Good job any way. Thank you for the game!

It was pretty tough to get past some of those levels, and I think some feedback would've been nice to know that I took damage or whatever else it might've been. Interesting idea, though.
Pretty good. I don't get it though. I wasn't able to progress once the black things started appearing, but there seemed to be an underlying story which is always saying something for a Ludum Dare game. Nicely done!
