Well, Mike ran in to problems getting ldjam.com working properly with about 12 hours left in the Compo, so this is the backup plan.
I want to give a disclaimer before anything else. The gameplay for this game isn't really finished, by any stretch of the word, so I fully expect it to get judged harshly in that area, and I'm open to any criticism about anything :)
UPDATE: I updated the Source link to point to the v0.1 branch, so that I can keep making changes without it affecting the source linked from here.
The game requires a modern browser such as Firefox or Chrome, as it makes use of HTML5. There are no instructions in-game so I'll give them right here:
* wasd to move around within your room
* number 1 to create water
* number 2 to create soil
* number 3 to create something from water and soil (don't press until you have both)
* number 4 to create something
* number 5 to create something (don't press until you've created with number 4 twice)
Creating something will take a little while depending on your surroundings. If you press 3 or 5 before you have the correct stuff, you won't be able to cancel the creation process, this is an issue that I wasn't able to implement, unfortunately.

Beautiful atmospheric idea. I think I blew it and pressed 5 before I had the correct stuff, though, which is a bummer.
I really couldn't figure it out either. But I enjoyed the music ! Would have been cool to see it finished
Not entirely sure what it going on but i managed to get a computer to spawn. I think that if there was some more instructions or something this could be really good. Also, nice music.
Really nice music and mood certainly best part of this game at this point hope you will work more to finish other parts. I would suggest to catch particles and build things from what you have catch instead of building over time
I don't understand it. I can see you had some idea around chemistry(?)
"Mood" score earned.
Tried to follow the instructions and not use 3/5 too early but somehow always messed it up. Did enjoy the music quite a bit. Good work.
Can't say I understood a thing even after reading the description...
Well eventhough I probably didn't understand what's going on I get to creating a PCB - which I personally see as my own internall success :D :D the music and the mood is great and I think the game might be fantastic after some improvements. Good work!
Same here, don't really know what's going on ^^
I like it somehow, I can build computers, but can't really figure how I do it. Kind of hypnotizing anyway.
I would be happy to know the mechanics involved here, if you would care to explain :)
The mechanics are supposed to be that you can construct various things from others. For example you can make Water from two Hydrogens and one Oxygen, you can make Soil from two Oxygens, one Silicon, and one Aluminium.
The method of crafting (where you press a number to do a predefined recipe) is definitely not what I had intended for the game, but I didn't have enough time to do something better. I can't do this for the LD37 version of the game, but what I want to do is have a list of recipes that are 'known' from the items you've seen already, but the output would be unknown. So you would know you can make something but not what it'll make, and then once you've made it, you would now have "seen" that item too, and be able to make more stuff.
I have plans for interactions with items, for example, like eating Food, drinking Water (maybe...), using a Computer, etc. I also have a bunch of plans for how multiplayer would work in this game, but again this will all take time to implement.
High points for mood :-) But I don't really know what's going on. Does moving around have any effect on anything? I created some food and PCB.
The idea is interesting (I had though of something similar, like alchemy based game too during brainstorming)
Definitely needed more intuitive explanation, but could figure out (i think) how to build a computer. Music is great. liked the simple graphics too.
Good game but hard to understand how to play. Please add more gameplay features and add improved graphics solution.

I have no idea what's going on, but I love it! Cool little atmospheric simulation. Really like the music, keep up the good work!
