Secret of Momo

Secret of Momo started out as a Secret of Mana demake. Aside from the combat mechanics nothing really is left of that.

Your stamina bar needs to be recharged before you can attack again.
When you level up enough you unlock more powerful charge attacks and gain stat boosts.

Controls: ArrowKeys to move / choose stat
Z/Y: accept/Attack - Hold to charge
M: Mute

HINT: it's not very obvious, but you gain charge levels at level 3 and 6, where you can hold attack to unleash stronger attacks!

How far can you get?

Fixed typo for controls on main screen
Fixed stats not being reset properly in a new game
Added Highscore

NOTE: HIGHSCORES were added post release, so don't let that influence your rating. It is mostly meant as a convenience for you in case you want to compare your skills to other players. I figured it is meta enough to not impact the game in any sense.

I dig this game, I love having to plan your attacks out in it. Great sound and graphics. It does get pretty difficult pretty fast, which I like though. I don't really know what's a good and bad result in terms of surviving waves. Both player and enemy hits could maybe have a bit more of an impact (VISCERAL), maybe play around with some sound, as well as push back player more when you're hit?

That got really difficult after a while. Some more options for crowd control or AoE damage would be sweet.
