Rune Forge

More of a proof of concept, really. You can manipulate Materium, a substance that can be used both as magic fuel, and can be converted into any other known substance, such as iron. Create stuff at the forge and sell it, and try not to fail.

​Fungus can be found at​ and is a free and open-source project. All standard Unity Assets (of which I only used code) belong to Unity3D. All models/textures/game logic created by myself during the 48 hours of the competition, as required.​

The interaction between menu items and 3d view with the mouse feels clunky.

Also I really could not figure out what to do.
I created some material, but never had enough to create any items. (It always said I need 5 of something..)

Cool idea, but ultimately I think it needs a lot of polish and an actual goal to become a viable game.

One big improvement you could easily make is to avoid using the default Unity first person controller footstep sounds. It seems like everyone is using them, and it makes everyones' games feel the same because those sound effects are overused.
