John Roomstantine

by Wryxo - Jam Entry

-It's bloody raining again... - John sighed, as he made his way to the so-called haunted manor. He opened the doors, entered the hallway and the door shut close behind him.

The gameplay has potential, but I think you should tell beforehand what an enemy does, since if you have to die to know that can be very frustrating. But the mechanics are interesting.

I think that the mixed use of mouse and keyboard is very confusing, at first I didn't realize I had to click on the enter the mansion sign to start the game. Since the rest of the game is keyboard controlled, it seems confusing.

Interesting game, though I am not sure if I played it well. I included it in my compilation video series of the Ludum Dare 37 games, if you’d like to take a look. :)

I didn't understand what was happening to begin with, and even after finishing the game I'm not sure what some of the enemies actually do. Even so, it's fun and polished.
