Well, Mike ran in to problems getting ldjam.com working properly with about 12 hours left in the Compo, so this is the backup plan.

Avoid getting crushed by the feet and eaten by the spiders.
Consume breadcrumbs to not starve. But be quick, the spiders will eat them too!
Move with arrow keys
R to restart
This is my first ever Ludum Dare. It was fun.
Made in Unity3D and published for web, uses HTML 5 and WebGL.

Wow, this was great! I like how I hate to make the human follow me to keep the rats away. :D
My record was 8 and 66 seconds.
Nice idea. I like the use of the spiders to steal the food and kill you, makes the game quite frantic. why do spiders need to kill you and eat cheese?
Congrats on your entry! It's fun and polished, perhaps a little hard though.
It's pretty tense deciding when to leave the safety of the big table
The gameplay is really simple and fun. The music and graphics is also great. Overall well done and welcome to LD.
Nice game and implementation!
Why spiders eating cheese?)
The boot animation is good, and feels from "nearly death" is good too.
But i didn't understand what means numbers of my score
Great fun little game!
One gripe I had is that sometimes It seems like I die for no apparent reason, maybe the colliders are off somehow?
Other than that, great idea, great execution!
Neat tiny game. I like the idea of this game and funny sound effects. I was a bit confused about "breadcrumbs" cubes, but after all it was quite nice and challenging. Good job!
Interesting concept. Got stepped on too many times bro.
So that is how life goes for a dity creature..
As a rat owner, games where they are portrayed as non-evil or protagonists are a big draw. Nice theme & execution, audio's on point. Main criticism is I kept getting killed by spiders spawning on me.
Kind of odd the feet don't actively chase the spiders, and the spiders just kinda run into them. Also I died a few times before I noticed the food bar, but overall, a solid entry. Fits the theme well. It's a fun little game.
Fun idea nice game play there should be some indication that bug will appear some kind of glow aura or eyes looking from hole (because they can literally appear on top of you).
Awesome game. Really challenging and tense, but also fun.
I really loved the aesthetics and the sound.
This guy's got more problems than mice and spiders. He's missing everything but his legs! Seriously though this has charm. I like the sounds and music in particular. It did get a bit boring after a while with just the feet and spiders but I like what is there for a 48 hour game. Nice job.
Good action, you really have to hustle for the breadcrumbs.
Moving diagonal is OP :)
Cute game. Sometimes a bit hard to avoid the spiders, since they can spawn right on top of you if you go near the edge. The art style is cohesive, and the music fits.
Nice concept!
Interesting gameplay interactions from simple mechanics (like making the boots stomp spiders)
Have you considered publishing it in mobile?
This reminds me of a game I made back in the 90s about killing bugs. Ah, nostalgia... Anyway, this was very well done. Great idea.
Really well designed and fun game - all the components interacting. Good work.
7 crumbs 59 seconds and 21 spiders(?) was my best.
This is a really fun concept. It took me a minute to realize I had to pickup the breadcrumbs (didn't read the instructions obviously :)). Getting the feet to stomp the spiders is really satisfying. Challenging enough keep playing, and not too devastating when you get squished so it doesn't feel terrible to start again. Very nice entry.
Nice concept! I liked the visuals. The audio fits really well, it gives you this tense feeling. The difficulty is in the right spot, it challenges you enough to keep playing. Well done!

The boots giveth and the boots taketh.
Like the idea here, fun game. Got 8 somethings.
