Well, Mike ran in to problems getting ldjam.com working properly with about 12 hours left in the Compo, so this is the backup plan.
You are an exterminator sent to do a job you know nothing about. Next thing you know you are in a constantly changing room surrounded by monsters of all different types with no way out!
Play your way through 7 stages to reach and attempt to defeat the final boss.
No spoilers about what it is though ;)
Controls are WASD to move and left click to attack towards mouse.
X-Box controllers do work with this game, Left stick to move, right stick to aim, and the right bumper to attack.

Great production quality! Very cohesive. It's a shame that there is no sound when enemies hit you, though.
Impressive and very fun game! Love the atmosphere. Incredible what you have managed in just 48 hours.
The only thing missing would be a better indication of when you hit someone. I also think it would have been better with scattered limited health packs instead of the regen. pools for making it more interesting :)
I really liked the transforming room system, visually and mechanically; also the player's walking animation was really great! The enemies felt like they had a bit too much health, and the lack of knockback along with having to stop while attacking made me a bit unsure about how to effectively handle the threats. Good thing the game's very generous with HP restoring points! I got to the boss and got it below 50% HP, but the monsters that spawned ended up being too much for me to handle.
Enjoyed it. One note is the regen pads could be reworked somehow, I found them to be time consuming. You are either done with the level sitting their waiting to regen, or you are starting a level waiting to regen. Only brings require break in gameplay. I didn't care for clicking repeatedly.
Love the graphics, love the room-changing effects, love the gimmicks. Not a fan of the combat; it feels too much like "click rapidly and hope the enemy dies before you do." Maybe some more impactful sound effects, or some knockback?
I like the way that it looks and feels. I had a sound designer friend sitting next to me who got really excited about the sound design (I usually don't notice these kinds of things, tbh). Great work overall. Well polished.
Ooh, nice concept.
I played with xbox one s controller, and whenever I wasn't aiming, the character faced to the right. I would have expected him to face where I last aimed. Also, a few more sfx would've done the game well.
Otherwise, you did well! Cool game! :>
I really liked the graphics and the theme. The combat mechanics are also good enough to make this game fun.
For attack and damage mechanics I would have prefer a different approach. The attack mechanic seems to work as a damage over time mechanic. Instant hit damage with some knockback effect would make it feel more like a melee attack and feel much more satisfying for the player in my opinion.
Great hack'n'slasher with nice graphics. Interesting idea with transforming room.
Good execution of the idea, it was fun to play and cohesive. The combat could be harder but other than that it was very good.
Fantastic idea, I loved the room changing mechanic, maybe rework the health in the future, but I hope you continue with what you've been doing, as its a great direction.
This is very small and interesting game with all the necessary for it. Very nice and well done !
