Well, Mike ran in to problems getting ldjam.com working properly with about 12 hours left in the Compo, so this is the backup plan.
WARNING: Please change the graphics setting in unity when you open the game to "fantastic". Fastest does not work at all...sorry about that
Anna´s Quest is a small game being entirely in one room. We would say it´s kind of an adventure.
- Graphics: GIMP / Piskel
- Engine: Unity
- Language: C#
- Music: MuseScore
- Sound FX: Microphone
Controlls are explained at the beginning of the game.

It's very hard to find out that you need to 'move time' as the interaction menu appears only when you jump or are on the chair - otherwise cool experience!
I couldn't figure out anything, the control screen was all pixelated and I couldn't make out a single word. Tried all keys but I couldn't make anything happen really.
I was unable to launch game in graphic quality equvalent to screen shot. Instructions were unreadable so game hardly playable.
@hadesfury about the pixelated stuff: if you change your unity setting from "fastest" to "fantastic" graphics, you can read/itÄs not totally messed up. sorry about that :/
Good graphics and differemt concept than most of games i see. Lucas arts forever!!!
The controls seem to work against you and it's very hard to do anything on purpose. I gave up after a few minutes, but the rest looked promising.
Yeah I have to echo that controls are a little bit challenge in itself :D
Cute puzzle game. Had a little trouble with the controls but was able to figure out how to navigate the room. I was not able to solve the puzzle.
Assuming that you used AddForce for movement because of the first few frames not moving the character. A neat trick I found is you can add an absurd amount of force then alter the drag to make it feel right.
Great entry! Good luck!
Hello mooncalf, thats exactly the point. Thanks for the tip!
Music, sounds and graphics are very good, I feel very peacfull mood. But controlls of game is not good. Chair mostly fall down and aftet that I cant move and manupilate with clock.
I try 4 times and after that give up.
Really nice game - novel idea and cute graphics - but movement was a little difficult.
I like the artwork. Anna, the monster, and the room are lovely, but I couldn't get the controls to function right. Would love to see this work.
Nice little game. Even though it was only 5 minutes, still told a story and was just the right amount of engaging.
Cute and sad game. The graphics are ok, and the music fit the game well. The problem here is the controls. They aren't intuitive, it's really hard to understand how we can interact with objects, but once we did, the game become really interesting, the idea to make the real world change with the room's items are clever. Good job, and keep making interesting games like that !
Graphics look nice and the sound behind it works great in this place but the controls feel weird and not very intuitive.
Let's be honest here, the controls are pretty horrid which ruins the good things in this entry. I assume you used AddForce to apply movement, instead you could try modifying and applying movement to rigidbody.velocity directly in order to get precise controls.
I was able to finish it despite the controls though. A bit on the short side, but a good effort none the less!
Nice entry, it made me a little sad. The graphics are cute and the way to resolve the puzzles are nice, I liked how the windows changed. Nice work guys and congrats!

The art looks very cute but the movement is flunky and can't do almost anything. It either lags or nothing happens. I managed to get the key but after that couldn't do anything. The chair was fun though.
